Elsa's Kopje is a private hideaway perched on top of Mughwango Hill in the old Northern Frontier District of the Meru National Park.
The Lodge is named after Elsa, the orphaned lioness reared by Joy and George Adamson and returned to the wild in Meru.
The Lodge is an open-plan design, which incorporates the surrounding rocks into the structure.
The dining area, lounge and swimming pool provide ideal venues for relaxing and taking in the spectacular view of the vast plains below.
The eight rooms and the family room are all individually designed and have an open, airy feel to them.
There are two rooms with twin beds and the rest have king-sized beds.
All rooms have en suite bathrooms and a sunken bath with uninterrupted views of the plains.
