wavelike surface of the FlowRider is perfect for beginning, intermediate and advanced
surfers. And the surrounding stadium seating and bar is great for surveying the wipeouts.

Who would ever think to put a surfing attraction onboard a ship? Well, obviously, we would.
The FlowRider surf simulator attracts hundreds of eager surfers and oglers to the aft sports
court each day. Even guests who never thought they'd try something like this are giving it a
go.
The FlowRider sends a thin sheet of water up a sloped and (thankfully) cushioned platform to create a wavelike flow of water. So it's perfect for beginning, intermediate and advanced surfers. After receiving safety instructions and a few tips for a successful ride from instructors, you can let 'er rip standing up (flowboarding) or lying down (bodyboarding). Carve, try tricks and otherwise show your stuff as spectators cheer you on from the surrounding viewing platform. If you hear a collective "Owww" in stereo as you wipe out, you'll know you've been broadcast on the flat-screen TVs in the adjacent Wipeout bar.
There is no charge to ride the FlowRider. And you can gear up for your surfing adventures at the sports boutique.
