Overview and Information about the Queen Davia

Experience our largest, most innovative ship: The Queen Davia of the Ocean!

ship
This Mermaid Cruise Lines masterpiece of naval engineering features the first-ever onboard surf park at sea: a 32-foot-wide by 40-foot-long surfing pool is similar to swimming against a current in a stationary lap pool. Riders can surf or body board against a wave-like flow of 30,000 gallons of water per minute, carving turns and trying tricks. First to feature cantilevered whirlpools that extend 12 feet beyond the sides of the ship; the first and largest rock-climbing wall, with eleven routes and a central spire you can swing around; the first ice skating rink; a waterpark, complete with interactive sculpture fountains, ground geysers and a cascading waterfall; and the H2O Zone. Extensive WiFi capabilities and connectivity for cell phones are also available, as well as flat-screen TVs in every stateroom and much, much more! You've got to see this ship to believe it.

Cuisine and Dining:
The Queen Davia of the Ocean has a very large main dining room on three levels. Dining is at two seatings and the room is non-smoking. Tables are available for four, six, eight, ten, or twelve. The Queen has many casual alternative dining options available so that passengers can eat somewhere almost all day and night. The Portofino is the upscale Italian option, with reservations required.

Entertainment:
Our show lounge spans five decks, and has colorful Las Vegas-style production shows, with the Spectaculars on Ice probably the most popular show.

Our ShipShape Spa:
The ShipShape Spa is large and includes all the standard treatment rooms, saunas, and steam room. The spa also has a sliding glass roof over the Solarium.

Our Fitness Center:
The fitness center is equipped with the latest equipment and a large aerobics room. One of our special amenities are the two unusual cantilevered whirlpools hanging over the side of the ship. They feature a terrific view!
